Emily Beamer is an award winning Graphic Designer and Illustrator based near in Winlaw, BC. She specializes in print design, natural scientific illustration and basic web design.

Emily Beamer loves to sit in the forest and draw plants, birds and bugs. She is a Kootenay local, having grown up in South Slocan. She left after high school, returning to live in the woods of Winlaw in 2007.

During her 11 years away she invoked a creative life that included whisky bartending in Scotland, squatting in Switzerland, biking roaming the coast of Spain, visiting King Arthur’s grave in England, and sailing to Fingal’s Cave in the Scottish Highlands, and her random lunch with Micheal Jackson.

After many travels, Emily then completed her BFA in Communication Design in Vancouver in order to reach her dream of now having her own Graphic Design and Illustration company based in the woods. She is ever grateful to be able to work while surrounded by deer, birds, and trees, like Snow White!
