First off, on behalf of all the administrators @ ohshitword.com,
we would like to thank evryone who has helped make this site such
success. The response has been amazing and the submitted work has
been incredible. So, thank you for your continued patience and support
as we try to evolve this site.
Second, as of December the Spiritbar will be hosting Thursday nights
alongside ohshitword to try to bring you the best DJ’s, Producers and musicians
from the local area by showcasing new artists each week. There will be no cover
charge, drink specials and special events regularly. Also, whenever possible, we will
be showcasing Video, mixes and original tracks by the upcomming artists here on
ohshitword. So, if you know a great local artist that isn’t getting the stage-time
you think they deserve, send in your suggestions and most importantly support
our local scene by attending these events.
Lastly, ohshitword will be getting a face-lift. What this means is that we will be changing
the lay-out of the site. We are making a side-bar for upcomming shows to re-focus
attention on contributing artists without having to navigate through past events.
The most important change will be the expansion of our team. We currently have 6
people actively contributing to the site. We plan on adding members and this is where
we need your help. If there is anyone interested in becoming a administrator to the site
contact us ohshitword@hotmail.com. You could cover events, bring attention to
emerging artists and shed light on a part of our scene that inspires you.
We also need artists, photographers, writers& musicians as freelance contributers.
This site is about OUR scene so we invite you be a part of it in any way you see fit.
Until the re-launch we will still be posting events and are still receiving and archiving
music & art submissions to be posted upon re-launch. We already have some exciting
posts like a brand new mix by Dexter, A great new fashion post By Robin and a couple other
surprizes.
The official Re-Launch party is in the works and we have some great DJ’s lined up for it.
