Talk to Richie for 5 minutes and the passion for his craft will become clearly evident.
He exudes enthusiasm and a genuine desire to progress as an artist.
Richie’s invaluable contribution to the Nelson community has been obvious through his locally owned studio & gallery. Ourglass ,where he creates and displays his incredible peices, has been holding well-attended art openings and showcasing different artists monthly. Richie does things with glass that conventional minds couldn’t even imagine.

Claude Chartier, born April 29th 1959, is a multi-media artist/designer. Montreal born, long-time Nelson BC resident, Claude prides himself on constantly pushing the marriage between alternative materials in all his work.
