Our Bro Lukas Davidson and his family hosted the 14th anual Kayak Rodeo
in Mabel Lake. Here he is flipping off of a 20ft. jump into rapids!?!
DIG$ & Vs. of Cyphanex played along with Kato and local support. Great party,
crowd had tons of energy & the party raged on till the wee hours on an incredible
river-side, outdoor home. DIG$ played an energy-filled,
diverse set accompanied by freestyles & original tracks by Vs.

Spiritbar recently celebrated their two year anniversary. Since they opened, Spirit has
been the spot for live music of varied genres in Nelson, improved their sound system immensely
and hosted amazing live performances from such acts as:
Questlove, Linton Kwesi Johnson, Z-Trip (on Canada Day!), Sub Swara, Ali Shaheed Mouhamed
& Mad Professor to name a few. We sometimes take for granted the calibre of artists that come through
Nelson and the people and places that make our scene possible in such a small town.
So…Happy b-day Spiritbar.
Fri. May 22nd Ourglass Studi0 & Gallery will be hosting an opening for
Kelly Shpeley and her new art exibit, which will be on display throughout June.
